Interactive map for Darlington mini site guide added · 13 April 2008

To complement the article 'Birding Suburban Darlington - a mini site guide' by Chris Bell (which appeared in the Spring 2007 Lek, and which can also be found on the Notes and articles page), Stephen Addinall has created an interactive map which allows members to click on the map (or on a satellite image) and get basic site directions as in the Lek article.  Note that this additional content is being made available to Durham Bird Club members only (those who have received the Lek). 

Gallery updated · 12 April 2008

The gallery has been updated with a selection of images taken in the county during May and June 2007. 

New articles added · 12 April 2008

Three articles from past Leks have been added to the Notes and articles page.  These are the PDF versions of the 'Mid-Wear Site Guide' and 'Raptors in Durham', which replace the previous Word-format versions of these articles; and 'Birding Suburban Darlington', which appeared in the Spring 2007 Lek and which has not previously been featured on the website. 

Website changes · 11 April 2008

This website has been upgraded to use new software.  As a consequence, the URLs (addresses) of almost all of its pages have changed.  If you have any bookmarks (or 'favourites') linking to DBC website pages, please update these.  The left-hand navigation menu has of course been updated to navigate to the new addresses.
