Website changes · Added 11 April 2008

This website has been upgraded to use new software.  As a consequence, the URLs (addresses) of almost all of its pages have changed.  If you have any bookmarks (or 'favourites') linking to DBC website pages, please update these.  The left-hand navigation menu has of course been updated to navigate to the new addresses.

The new software responsible for these changes will allow several new features to be added.  In particular, the following features are already finished and will be added to the live site soon:

The software will also make the website easier to manage and update, and this should mean that it is updated more frequently. 

Note that most of the image gallery has not yet been transferred to this new version of the website.  This is a temporary measure to avoid duplicating the large files involved in both the old and new locations of the gallery.  The missing months' galleries will be restored soon, perhaps even by the time you read this, and new galleries will also be added, starting with selections of images from May and June 2007. 

Finally, if you notice anything that you think may be a problem with the new website, for example information which is out-of-date because it has not been copied across from the old website, then please contact the website manager, by e-mail to website-manager@durhambirdclub.org.
