A Seasonal 'Salty Walk' to Learn of Teesmouth's Global Wanderer · Paul Anderson · Added 18 December 2011

Join the Birds of Durham Heritage Project's walk leaders for a FREE 1.5km bird-watching walk on Thursday 29th December, 10.30am until 12 noon. 

The Meeting Point for this 'festive feast' is at the entrance of the Saltholme Visitor Centre, which is located off the A178, between Saltholme and Port Clarence (Grid Reference NZ504227); it is well signposted from the main roads in the area. Wear outdoor clothes and walking shoes/boots, dress as appropriate for the weather and temperature. If you have binoculars, please bring them along. Ample car parking is available at RSPB Saltholme, (charges apply). The walk leader for this event is Toby Collett, Assistant Warden of the Saltholme RSPB reserve. This event is co-hosted by the RSPB and the Teesmouth Bird Club.
