Records Sub-committee Report - October 2006 · Ross Ahmed · Added 10 December 2006

The records sub-committee met on Monday 18th September. The meeting was attended by: Stephen Addinall, Ross Ahmed, Chris Bell, Peter Bell, Paul Cook, Paul Davidson, Mark Newsome, Mike Passant and Geoff Siggens. 

The table below summarises all records reviewed by the RSC at their meeting on 18th September. The records reviewed in the meeting included all 2006 records up to the end of July, and any other outstanding records from previous years. All descriptions received were scrutinised before a decision was made. In several cases, there was no formal submission of the record and no description received, and therefore the record was rejected immediately. The observers of all rejected records have been informed of the decision and the reason prior to the publication of this report. Also included in this report are details of several species which have been upgraded from Category 2 to Category 1 of the RSC list. These now require full descriptions to be scrutinised by the RSC.
