In addition to the DBC Members' Forum, which is provided for Durham Bird Club members only, there is a discussion about the birds of County Durham on the BirdForum website, which is visible to everyone, and to which anyone can contribute.  The link below enters BirdForum at the 'Durham Birding' thread:

As with the DBC Members' Forum and the bird news page, none of the sightings posted on the BirdForum thread are transcribed for the county record automatically, so please continue to submit your records to the county recorder at the end of each month. 

There is also a mailing list for DBC members, set up as a Yahoo!  Group.  You can sign up and then receive e-mailed updates, instead of having to remember to check other websites.  Details of field trips and other bird club matters will be posted here, and direct to all members who sign up.
